First Word!

Well obviously my goal of updating once a week is already shot! I'm really going to try to do better on that. Ansley said her first word on Tuesday evening, and it just melted my heart....3 guesses what it was.....MAMA!! And she has said it a couple of times since. That is the most precious word I've ever heard! I waited so long to be a Mama and to have her now call me that is truly a joy!

Ansley has also gotten her first tooth. It's on the bottom and it's about halfway in. It's dealing her fits, which in turn deals her Daddy and I fits! :) Poor thing, the tooth is really driving her crazy!

I have several pictures to post from Memorial Day and John Steadman's (Ansley's cousin) first birthday but that will have to come at a later time. In the meantime I'm going to leave you with a picture or two of Miss Ansley swimming. She LOVES the pool and I feel certain she is going to be swimming like a fish in just a couple of summers!

First Post

Tonight is my first post on the blog. I decided to create a blog so our friends and family that we don't see often would have a chance to see what is going on in our lives. Ansley is growing and changing so fast and I'm looking forward to sharing all the milestones with you! This blog is definitely a work in progress and I'm new to all of this, so bear with me in the weeks to come. I will try to update this at least once a week but I may get off track at times.

Ansley is 7 months old now. She's growing so fast and changing so much! Her personality is really starting to show. She's such a happy baby and loves to laugh and "talk." She is always on the go and is rarely still! She sleeps about 12 hours a night and only takes small cat-naps throughout the day. She's a busy girl!
